WELCOME TO NORTH PENNINE SWEEP
PROMPT - CLEAN - RELIABLE - PROFESSIONAL
I take care and attention to make sure that each chimney is thoroughly swept and that the dust and dirt removed never enters your home thanks to industry leading vacuum technology used on every sweep.
All flues are swept to the high standards of the The Master Guild of Chimney Sweeps , which provides peace of mind and assurance that the task has been professionally completed.
A Cowl or Pot Check
I check to make sure each and every chimney flue I work on is topped off with the correct outlet for the appliance used and can give professional advice if the wrong cowl or pot has been fitted.
Protect Your Property
Clean sheets, clean systems of working and extremely powerful industrial vacuum ensure that your property is kept clean
A Thorough Clean of Your Chimney Flue
I use the very best brushes and rods using both traditional modern techniques to ensure that every flue is left clear and safe to use.
An Inspection of your Stove, Fire or Appliance
Your appliance will be checked to make sure it is working efficiently and will be cleared of dust and dirt.
A Draft Test
I carry out a smoke test to ensure that your flue is fully clear and functioning after I have completed sweeping.
An Insurance Backed Certificate
On completion you will be given a signed Guild certificate which will confirm the work that has been undertaken, any issues identified are recorded. This provides both peace of mind and will satisfy home and business insurance requirements.
An important part of my job is to examine and evaluate your appliance, the flue efficiency and to offer advice on its safe operation. Fuel is expensive, so I am also pleased to advise on how you can get the most from your chosen fuel and reduce your costs.
Jackdaw nests can be removed using specialist equipment; advanced notice of a likely nest is appreciated to accommodate sufficient time to complete the task, and then sweep.
I have the equipment to sweep all of the below appliance types including specialist equipment for oil, biomass and gas appliance flues:
*Stainless Steel liners
*Cast in situ liner
